ABSTRACT
This study focuses on the semantic analysis of multilingualism within the Nigerian social media sphere; TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, it is aimed at conducting an ethnographic analysis of semantic patterns of multilingualism. Data for the study was gathered through both primary and secondary sources and were deduced to furnish this study with detailed analysis. The theoretical framework for this study is the ethnography of communication theory, which is also known as the speaking model. Findings revealed that different social media platforms are used to account for a semantic analysis of multilingualism within the Nigeria social media sphere. The study recommends that these different social media platforms should be taught to people, integrates into the educational system and the contexts taking into consideration.
