ABSTRACT
This project is grouped into five chapters, I started the work with a general introduction which boarders on orthography generally, background of the study in relation to orthography in Nigeria languages, the research questions, research objectives, statement of problem, scope of study, methodology, the history of the language I worked on, the alphabetical chart and finally the syllable structure of lexical items.
The chapter two consist the review of relevant literature and concept of present study.
Chapter three contains the theoretical framework which talks about, the theoretical models of Orthography.
However, in chapter four i presented and analyzed my data.
Finally, chapter five concluded the project with summary, recommendation and conclusion. And appendix at the last page.
