Abstract
This project attempt to addresses the pervasive issue of mobile phone and technology-related distractions that adversely impact students' study habits and academic performance. In this context, the project aims to develop a self-regulatory mobile application tailored to students' student’s habits. Methodologically, the study combines preliminary literature reviews, ObjectOriented Analysis and Design Methodology (OOADM), and Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system modeling in developing the mobile application. This innovative mobile app serves as a Student Task Management System, offering students a comprehensive platform to organize and track their academic responsibilities effectively. Key features of the app include task creation and management, study session scheduling, progress tracking, report generation and reminders. The adoption of this mobile application will regulate students study habits which will invariably improve students’ academic performance.
