ABSTRACT
The Research work is Titled “A Discourse Analysis of Traditional Marriage In Jesse“ is devoted to revealing the steps and language use in the various activities of the Traditional marriage ceremony in Jesse. Critical Discourse Analysis formed the theory of this research. This work is divided into five chapters. In Chapter one, The study will be introduced, showing the statement of the problem, Research question, objective of the study, method of data collection, The language and culture of the people. Chapter two Reviews concepts which are relevant to this work as well as previous studies and also theoretical framework. While chapter three focuses on presentation of Data for this study and chapter four looks at the analysis of data presented in chapter three. In chapter five, a summary was done showing the findings of the work and the conclusion.
