ABSTRACT
There are Plethora of vices that thrive in the twenty first century, as one intriguing concern to this intellectual research work is the issue of Cyber crime, it is visible as well conceivable that the world is digital as information and can be passed and transaction can be done from whatever place in the world without distance being a hindrance through the use of computers, internet and other digital technologies have brought in profitable innovations to the human race, it is also accompanied with new means of crime associated to its use as all crime associated to the “Cyber space” use of computer in the world is known as Cyber crime. Cyber crime do not take place in western countries alone as African-youths have also joined in the league of Cyber animals as a means of empowering themselves from the poverty constituted society they found themselves in. there are series of questions being asked, Does the poverty alleviation reason given by the proper trators of this act justify the Act? Should the social value of this Crime in Nigeria outweigh the moral decadence it ensues? These question will be answered in the course of this research by exploring and analyzing the philosophical contributions of Soren Kier Kegaard with reference to his “Stages of life’s way” the method that will be adopted in the course of this research is the Analytical cum Evaluative method of philosophy which is aimed at clarifying concepts thereby evaluating opinions of key philosophers regarding this issue.
