A CORRELATION OF CHEMISTRY TEACHERS IN RELATION TO THE POPULATION OF CHEMISTRY STUDENTS IN EGOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF EDO STATE

ABSTRACT

The study Investigate the Correlation of Chemistry Teachers in Relation to the Population of Chemistry Students in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. The purpose of the study if to investigate the relationship between chemistry teacher’s population and chemistry student’s population in senior secondary school in Egor Local Government area of Edo State. The population of this study consist of both Teacher and Students of Twelve (12) schools in Egor Local Government Area with a population of 13 chemistry teachers and 4865 chemistry students. The study adopts a census sampling which covers the entire population of the students and chemistry teachers. Primary source of data was used to determine responds from respondent. The research adopted simple mean as method for data analysis with the Likert scale rating. Two research question was analysed with 5 items for consideration.
