ABSTRACT
Latest research in Nigeria has shown the possibility of sourcing low cost chemical for enhancing oil recovery. In this work, a comparative study was done using chemical slug developed from local material (Palm bunch ash). The results shows that local material is an effective method of enhanced oil recovery . The significance of this research work is economic boom to the oil and gas industries, job creation, and increase in the Nations GDP.
