ABSTRACT
This study attempts to make us understand the uniqueness of the political philosophy of the Benins, the historical background and political philosophy practiced in Nigeria. It is against this background that many historians and political scholars have made several arguments on the issue of the political philosophy of Africa. This study will expose the African political thought, there by arriving at a comparative thought. This study is divided into four chapters, each chapters have a detailed insight on the history of political philosophy and thoughts of Africans, West Africa Nigeria to be precise. We shall try to understand Africa political philosophy as political ideas and theories expounded by African thinkers.
